OVERVIEW

Ceramics are mixtures of clay, earthen elements, powders, and water. Human is made out of dust - soil and up to 60% of the human body is water. Taking these two parallel facts, I wanted to depict “aging” through the ceramic.

Starting as a soil, turned into clay, made into a shape, decorated with decals, slow deforming, becoming dull, losing aesthetic, and eventually back to its beginning stage - back in the earth.

Starting from baby, collecting characteristics, decorating ourselves, slowly losing energy, gaining wrinkles, aging, then back to the soil.
